The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Today's Feature & Follow Friday question is:

What is the first book you remember reading?

Oh gosh, it was so long ago! I couldn't exactly pinpoint when I started reading by myself (or what book specifically) without anyone in my family reading to me. Let me see... that was around nursery or kindergarten. I had this big book of two-three paragraph stories that I absolutely loved. Just little stories. Then, the fairy tales, of course, specifically Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast.

  1. I think the idea of little stories to get kids into reading -- instead of big books asap -- is a wonderful way for them to start. This is mine: http://editingeverything.com/blog/2015/07/03/follow-and-feature-friday-9-your-very-first-book/ I've followed on Bloglovin' and instagram, because I'm always love bookgrams!

  2. When you said fairy tales it made me think of the book I had when I was a kid. It had the most TERRIFYING pictures in it. It used to look at them just to freak myself out. New follower! My F&F Post

  4. I love all the fairy tales! My dad had a set of books that he inherited. Each book had a set of stories and one was all the old fairy tales. I loved them :D

  5. I used to love fairy tales when I was little too! I mainly remember reading Dr. Seuss when I was little though. I'm an old follower. :)

  6. My mom read me countless fairy-tales, disney, winnie-the-pooh, and Dr. Suess books. The first books that I remember reading on my own were probably Nancy Drew, The Babysitters' Club, and Scooby-Doo books.
