Welcome to another year of more books, books and yet more books!
Another year of adding to that TBR pile that never seems to get smaller.
Another year of discovering worlds, meeting new characters, saying hello, it's me to old, beloved ones.
It's another great year for reading!

Finale
  • Cheating Death (The Immortal Descendants #5) by April White - January 24 - The last book left me with all the feels since my beloved Archer Devereux went all heroic. Now, I want my happy ever after.
  • Etched in Bone (The Others #5) by Anne Bishop - March 7 - I thought Marked in Flesh was the end of the series. It was in a perfect place to end the books since almost everything was tied up. It would have left the reader hanging as to the ultimate fate of the characters and of the world itself but being it's unclear but we all know they're fine would have cut it. I won't say no to wrap it up in a little bow though.

Sequels

  • The Dark Days Pact (Lady Helen #2) by Alison Goodman - January 31 - I wanted this sequel, like, a year ago.
  • Draekora (The Medoran Chronicles #3) by Lynette Noni - April 1 - When the clear skies suddenly darken with dark, looming clouds.
  • The Crown's Fate (The Crown's Game #2) by Evelyn Skye - May 16 - This would've been in the finale section, but I read rumors that there could be a third. Please don't go all Jesse on me, Nicholas.

New Series

  • The Alchemists of Loom (Loom Saga #1) by Elise Kova - January 10 - Is that girl a little grey or what?
  • The Bone Witch (The Bone Witch #1) by Rin Chupeco - March 7 - I loved Rin Chupeco's Girl from the Well duology is it a duology? will there be more books with Tark and Okiku?. Good premise.
  • Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer #1) by Laini Taylor - March 28 - It's been a while, Laini Taylor. How's it going?

Debuts

  • Frostblood (Frostblood Saga #1) by Elly Blake - January 10 - Fire and Ice. Targaryen and Stark. Dragons and Icewalkers..... Wrong series? Oops.
  • Heartstone by Elle Katharine White - January 17 - When it's another incarnation of Pride and Prejudice, it's a must-read. Plus, there are dragons.
  • Blood Rose Rebellion (Blood Rose Rebellion #1) by Rosalyn Eves - March 28 - Magic. *want* Alternative Victorian England. *grabby hands* Hungary. Well, I've never been to Hungary.

It's just for the first half of the year.
It's not even half of the anticipated reads I'm... anticipating for that half.
It's hard narrowing down, isn't it? And that's just the YA ones.
