Lover of mysteries and puzzles, currently going through Hallmark's Movies & Mysteries catalogue as well as her cozy mysteries TBR pile.
She's rejoicing in the diverse, #OwnVoices books out in the world today compared to when she started actively blogging ten years ago.
Dogs are heaven sent.
Are you also a writer and what genre? Or did you ever consider writing?
A frustrated writer! While I am not serious enough to want to be a published author, I've had stories inside my head since ever, inspired my the TV shows I watched and the books I read. I have two stories brewing since high school and they are just in my head where they unravel and I tweak a little bit here and there. Check out my Scraps posts to see my unfinished writing attempts.
Good luck with your writing. I will take a look at your scraps when I get more time. For some reason, I'm stuck as logging in as my old blog, probably because you're on blogspot and that's where I used to be. Anyway, the new address is http://booksthathook.com
I love that you've got Scraps posts! It's such a good way of collecting your ideas. I'm usually just crawling under the blankets, too embarrassed by everything! I'm always stuck with ideas in my head that just slowly develop, but then once I try to write it nothing comes out! I'm following on Twitter, loving the Howl's Moving Castle cover! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend! My Friday post Juli @ Universe in Words
What type of books are floating around in your head? I want to write as well and I think my fear of failure keeps me from finishing. Check out what I wrote: http://www.booksmoviesreviewsohmy.com/featureandfollow/. Old follower! :)
I've had stories in my head that I jot down too. Even used to keep a dream journal. I love going back and reading them and it's always nice to have a little peak into what I was thinking five or ten years ago.
Congrats on being featured!! I'm pretty much the same way - I have these stories in my head, but I haven't gotten them onto paper yet. I hope to someday, though!
Congrats on your feature! Maybe you'll look back and change your mind due to the recognition! Arent we all frustrated though lol? Have you tried the NaNoWriMo challenge?
Haha I definitely know what it's like to be a frustrated writer. For me, it's like I'll get an idea in my head, but it won't really be a plot if that makes sense (kind of like, knowing the character's superpower but not knowing what situation he'll use it in). Anyway, whether you're serious or not it's great that you're writing!

I've been keeping a dream journal for about ten years now. Isn't it a kick when reading what you've been dreaming about years ago?
