Dogs are heaven sent.
This was in one of my required English courses in college. Our teacher was sort of a terror teacher, very strict, no nonsense type. We were all so nervous. I think this was our last reading assignment and we were required to read it, internalize it and then report about characters, development, plot and sundry. I never relished reading school books because they are required. I don't want to be forced to read.
But in this case, I'm glad I was forced to read and I ended up loving it. Even though it was fiction, I gained a new perspective in viewing (lol) my country's history.
I don't like very much to read school books, because as you said are required, its seams to me that all of those books were not good enough, but I was pleasantly surprised few times. New Bloglovin' follower. My FF:Books are my life
I've actually never heard of that book.
