feature+%26+follow+friday
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Today's Feature & Follow Friday question is:

How do you decide what books to read?

Russian roulette. I have darts beside my bookshelves and I use them to choose what books to read for the week...

Just kidding.

Anyone who harms my books would spend an hour in Umbridge's shocking pink office with the frolicsome feline plates.

I have no special way to choose which books to read. I AM a mood reader so whatever takes my fancy on that hour/day/week, I would choose that book or those books.

But every so often, the books for review would pulse angrily brightly and I would guiltily add those to the queue, alternating between them with the books I want to read. I have this sort of system that I am trying to stick to wherein I would read two review books a week, usually in the weekend.

Or there's the tried and tested stare at your bookshelves for an inordinate amount of time.

I always ask my sister what new book she is reading and go from there.
At the moment I am working on promoting my own book I don't get time to read as much

LOL love that dart choosing books... maybe that would work for me because recently my kids bought a bow and arrow the kind that sticks to the freezer LOL that would be cool.

Just like you, I tend to decide depending on my mood. New follower here!

At least the rubber won't damage the books but my darts will. XD

I'm a mood reader as well. I do try to read my ARCs and review requests first though, so I don't get too far behind. Otherwise I just pick whatever strikes my fancy.

Thank you! It is a new look. More streamlined, I think. Less cluttered.

LOL! You had me at the darts at your books -- it sort of feels like sometimes I should do that. Or, get a book jar (someone else on this meme came up with this) and stick the titles in there and just do a russian roulette that way. I am a mood reader too, but I also rely on book bloggers to get to know what's good out there. Also, I'm a sucker for a good cover and a good blurb! Here's mine: http://editingeverything.com/blog/2015/05/10/follow-friday-2-how-do-you-decide-what-books-to-read/

And followed on bloglovin' and instagram!
