Evie O'Neill has been exiled from her boring old hometown and shipped off to the bustling streets of New York City--and she is pos-i-toot-ly thrilled. New York is the city of speakeasies, shopping, and movie palaces! Soon enough, Evie is running with glamorous Ziegfield girls and rakish pickpockets. The only catch is Evie has to live with her Uncle Will, curator of The Museum of American Folklore, Superstition, and the Occult--also known as "The Museum of the Creepy Crawlies."

When a rash of occult-based murders comes to light, Evie and her uncle are right in the thick of the investigation. And through it all, Evie has a secret: a mysterious power that could help catch the killer--if he doesn't catch her first.
I've only read one other series by Libba Bray and that was the Gemma Doyle series. I absolutely loved it. I didn't have the chance of reading another book of hers... or perhaps some of the titles didn't just appeal to me. But this one, this one I will read.

Also... it's been released! Yay! But I don't think I'd be able to buy it here in Japan so I'll wait until I get back home. Although, I could always order it online... but I don't have a credit card so there's the rub.

I saw this book featured in one of the blogs I stalk but it was only thanks to a link to the book trailer, which is creepy by the way, that it has been under my radar again.
