TBR Intervention is a weekly challenge hosted by  April @ Books4Juliet, Dani @ Refracted Light and Ayanami @ Whatever You Can Still Betray

The goal of this challenge is to help each other (fellow readers and bloggers) manage our enormous and constantly growing TBR (To-Be-Read) List. The rules are simple and everyone is encouraged to participate. It does not force you to commit to more than what you can manage to read in a week or so, but participants are encouraged to read at least one book within a week. You are free to choose the book you want to read and commit to this challenge. You may post your entry every Saturday, at the frequency of your choice--EVERY WEEK or EVERY TWO WEEKS. However, we will sponsor this event regularly every Saturday.
Here are the rules:
1. Post the book(s) you committed to read in your last TBR Intervention post and tell us something about it. Did you finish it? Did you enjoy it or not? Post the link to your review (if you have one).
2. Post a book that you want to read and already own. Pick something that has been sitting on your shelf for too long now (6 months or longer). Commit to read the book in the next couple of days or week.
3. Grab the TBR Intervention Button and post it on your blog sidebar so you will be constantly reminded of the challenge, making it easier for you to commit. This will also encourage other readers/bloggers/visitors to join the challenge.
4. Add the link to your post in the Linky below, grab the button and make sure to visit the other blogs. Comment, encourage, and spread the love to our fellow readers.

THE BOOK I COMMITTED TO READ:

Destiny's Path
the second book in the Warrior Princess series
by Frewin Jones
in my pile since September 2011

Eeep! *hides in the corner* I'm sorry. I'm sorry! *peeks around* I haven't finished it yet and then I also owe you the review of Solid and... I think that's it.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I've been a sluggard on my reading habits lately. I'm a bad host, aren't I? Supposed to be the model conqueror of the TBR pile. *ears flopped down* Wait, I don't have doggy ears but you do get the visual.

Anyway, I salute the participants and my wonderful co-hosts, April and Dani for being stalwart towers of the reading fortress.

Good luck with finishing Destiny's path! You can do it! ;)

  2. You will finish it in your own time. I hate when I hit slumps like that.

Well, don't worry about it. I participated, but my reading wasn't very consistent... *looks quite ashamed at her own TBR IC this week*. It's good to have you back anyway!

I hope you enjoy the book, at least ;)

    Happy weekened! Happy reading!

  5. Ha! It happens. It took me a few weeks to get my TBR Intervention books read. I blamed it on the holidays....

  6. Whaaaaat? "stalwart tower of the reading fortress" huh... lol! Are you referring to me? hihihi... I almost became friends with Ms. Laziness and Mr. Not-in-the-mood-for-reading! I was afraid you'll gonna kick me out soon! I'm not a good host hehe. Well, we must all keep going I guess, and I'm thankful for our wonderful participants for the continuous support and encouragement. I really need that. =) So, yeah, just keep going... This holiday season didn't help with my books so I need to catch up.. really catch up! =)

Goodluck with your pick this week! =)
