Book Haul is a feature post which showcases some of the books that I got.

The Faerie Guardian
Creepy Hollow #1
Rachel Morgan
Enter a hidden world of magic, mystery, danger and romance in this YA fantasy from Amazon bestselling author, Rachel Morgan...

Protecting humans from dangerous magical creatures is all in a day’s work for a faerie training to be a guardian. Seventeen-year-old Violet Fairdale knows this better than anyone—she’s about to become the best guardian the Guild has seen in years. That is, until a cute human boy who can somehow see through her faerie glamor follows her into the Fae realm. Now she’s broken Guild Law, a crime that could lead to her expulsion.

The last thing Vi wants to do is spend any more time with the boy who got her into this mess, but the Guild requires that she return Nate to his home and make him forget everything he’s discovered of the Fae realm. Easy, right? Not when you factor in evil faeries, long-lost family members, and inconvenient feelings of the romantic kind. Vi is about to find herself tangled up in a dangerous plot—and it’ll take all her training to get out alive.
Faerie. Faeries. Faeries. Thanks to the author and Giselle from Xpresso Reads for the opportunity to read this book.

The Forever Song
Blood of Eden #3
Julie Kagawa
VENGEANCE WILL BE HERS

Allison Sekemoto once struggled with the question: human or monster?

With the death of her love, Zeke, she has her answer.

MONSTER

Allie will embrace her cold vampire side to hunt down and end Sarren, the psychopathic vampire who murdered Zeke. But the trail is bloody and long, and Sarren has left many surprises for Allie and her companions—her creator, Kanin, and her blood brother, Jackal. The trail is leading straight to the one place they must protect at any cost—the last vampire-free zone on Earth, Eden. And Sarren has one final, brutal shock in store for Allie.

In a ruined world where no life is sacred and former allies can turn on you in one heartbeat, Allie will face her darkest days. And if she succeeds, triumph is short-lived in the face of surviving forever alone.
*does a happy dance* THE FOREVER SONG! Now, I have no other excuse for reading The Eternity Cure. I did promise that I would only read it when I get my hands on the third one. And yes! But I spoiled myself since now I know that Zeke will die on the second book but there's this "Sarren has one final, brutal shock in store for Allie". I'm guessing Zeke is not dead then? He's a vampire now? What?

Thanks NetGalley!

Eh, they're both purple.

  1. LOL, Oh, I wish publishers would be more careful about have major spoilers in the synopsis of sequels! There's got to be a creative way around it, right? :D That series looks great---I haven't read a vampire novel is ages so I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it, I may have to pick it up someday!
