Dogs are heaven sent.
Thursdays are dedicated to covers of upcoming releases or covers of books that are already on the shelves that I happen to love.
There have been many book covers out there that have the same model who is wearing the same dress and in the same pose with the same background. The only differences you can see on those covers are the titles of the book, the names of the author and some added elements but those covers are basically the same.
This topic has been discussed before but I just happen to find another cover that was the same as another book that I happen to have been waiting on (Wednesday... LOL).
I don't know how these things happen. Maybe they used the same stock - a lot of them come from deviantArt. Maybe that's it.
Yes, that one is definitely about stock. The image used in that cover is actually available on Dreamtime.com. My friend Kate and I saw it when we were looking at stuff for my cover a few months ago. You can also find the stock for Pretty Amy on there super easy, though I'm not sure if anyone else has used it.
