Lover of mysteries and puzzles, currently going through Hallmark's Movies & Mysteries catalogue as well as her cozy mysteries TBR pile.
She's rejoicing in the diverse, #OwnVoices books out in the world today compared to when she started actively blogging ten years ago.
Dogs are heaven sent.
Book Haul is a feature post which showcases the books that I got.
I received My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris as part of the MSSSC Blog Tour this August 20-31. A huge thank you to Rachel Harris and Heather Riccio of Entangled Publishing and to Shane of Itching for Books for putting together this tour. The tour stops here on Whatever You Can Still Betray on August 23 and I'll be sharing my thoughts and a little excerpt from this fun, fun book.
Then, I received The Demon Catchers of Milan by Kat Beyer from EgmontUSA thru NetGalley. Italy all the way! The cover of this book is a little A Thousand Years, don't you think? Or is it just me? Plus, The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa! I think NetGalley broke down (again) awhile when the news exploded that TLP's on NetGalley and people went to check it out.
Finally, something to add to my growing TBR Kindle pile (which I haven't reduced in any way) - The Anne Boleyn Collection: The Real Truth About the Tudors by Claire Ridgway. How's that for a little insight into the turbulent lives of the Tudors? This book was free last week.
Awesome haul! I got The Lost Prince this week as well!! :)
