#BookBlogWriMo Day 01: History of Your Blog

It's day 1 of BookBlogWriMo!
If anyone doesn't know about BookBlogWriMo then... well, it just started this year. Hosted by Brittany of Book Bumblings, BookBlogWriMo is a "a lax version of NaNoWriMo for book bloggers. [There are] prompts for each day, discussing different topics around books, blogging, and books + blogging."
Today's topic is: History of Your Blog.

Tell us how you got started! When did you start your blog? Why? What have been some of your trials and tribulations? How many pigs did you have to sacrifice to get people to see your Facebook posts?

I've told the story often during introductions in blogging events like ArmchairBEA and Book Blogger Appreciation Week. Therefore, to change it up a bit, I'll show you a timeline of firsts and highlights. Inspired by the Epic Reads Age of YA.

Image sizes are a tricky thing.This was supposed to be one whole image (1389 x 6861) but blogger is being finicky with sizes.
