I am not a big space fan, not really although I did enjoy watching the Star Wars and Star Trek movies. But books? Maybe I was just disappointed with the last read I had that I wasn't keen on taking up another space book again.
However, Empress of a Thousand Skies does look like something I'd enjoy reading cross fingers.
