I've read the Gemma Doyle as eBooks; but I saw copies at Booksale so...I'm only missing one. The middle book!
This is an awesomesauce series by Libba Bray. The plot and the storytelling are different from the norm. And I am still not over that ending... after all these years.

My little cousin recently watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens (when I let him borrow my copy when he asked for movies to watch) and, well, he's into it now. He's so into it that when he saw a desert on TV he pointed out the desert in Jakku; he bought a startrooper figurine; and, when I pointed out this book at a bookstore, he didn't think twice about asking his mom to buy it for him (even though I don't think he understood much of the lore when he was reading it).
