The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Today's Feature & Follow Friday question is:

Do you own any doubles of your books? What led to getting that second...or third or fourth...copy?

- Suggested by A Great Read

No, I don't. Even if I wanted to have more copies because I love the covers of other editions, the state of my wallet dictates whether I could buy more or not. Moreover, I don't see the logic of owning more than one copy. I do have a British version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which I bought at a bargain bookstore in Japan.

  1. It definitely is expensive to keep buying books, especially if they are doubles!

  2. I know what you mean, every time that I even think about going into the book store my pocket book yowls in pain. lol. You'd think that I was abusing the poor thing, heh! But really, most of my doubles are either on my Kindle for reasons, were originally ARC's I'd received for review and liked so much I bought the finished copy, or was gifted to me and I am planning to pass them along. :)

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! :)

  3. I think that is the main reason why I don't have a bunch of doubles. The majority of my doubles are e-books. And I usually only buy when they are on sale. I also have won several books from read-alongs where I won the entire series but already owned the first book as an e-book. I also don't have the space to have a bunch of doubles. Though I understand wanting them if they are a favorite author or signed or some other special reason. Great post!

  4. If you were going to have any double, a HP book is the way to go :)
