The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Today's Feature & Follow Friday question is:

Before blogging (dark times, people!) how would you find out about new books or did you?

-suggested by A Good Read

Dark times indeed! Every time I went to the mall, my first destination would be the bookstore and I would just roam around, look at the covers and such. I had a limited selection since I was at the mercy of what the bookstore deemed would sell well in my country.

Now, I still roam around the bookstore but I would usually have the titles in mind that I would buy. I'd just shake my head if the bookstore doesn't carry those titles.

Sadly, libraries are not that great here.

The bookstores in my area were quite small as well but I was pretty lucky that in recent years our libraries have before fantastic =)

Same with the bookstores, I would just walk up and down the same aisles week after week until I spotted a new book I wanted or finally had enough money to buy the ones I had in mind! Although often I would walk away with something random that caught my eye! I'm an old GFC follower! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

Yes, I had the same problem with my local bookshops and libraries. I've gotten in the habit of getting my books online now - so much more choice and I can read what I love. It's a shame, as I'd love to support the local shops but when they don't stock what I want to read, it leaves little choice :(

New bloglovin' follower, have a great weekend!

I would like to get my books online as often as I could, the physical copies I mean but the shipping is too expensive for me so, oftentimes, ebooks for me.

Second hand bookstores were always the place for me.
