It's day 2 of BookBlogWriMo!

If anyone doesn't know about BookBlogWriMo then... well, it just started this year. Hosted by Brittany of Book BumblingsBookBlogWriMo is a "a lax version of NaNoWriMo for book bloggers. [There are] prompts for each day, discussing different topics around books, blogging, and books + blogging."

Today's topic is: How You Read.
Paperback? Hardcover? Ereader? Smartphone? Bookmarks, note taking in the margins, or highlighting? Tell us some of your reading rituals!
Step 1: Choose book. Depending on one's mood, you could choose from a wide array of books ranging from the middle-grade to adult categories and from paranormal romance to mystery/thrillers.

I prefer hardcopies to softcopies if I could get them. However, the convenience of e-readers is a huge plus for me since I could carry a lot of books with me.

Step 2: Determine where to sit your awesome butt. Remember, the book you chose might render you incapable of moving for at least three hours, so choose where to rest your derriere, i.e. comfy couch with fluffy pillows. There must also be ample lighting and an electric fan.

Step 3: Prepare snacks. Enough for three or so hours. THREE HOURS. Hydrate.

Step 4: Switch phone to silent mode. Only have calls on vibrate.

Step 5: *fidgets* About to start reading but having second thoughts, playing solitaire instead.

Step 6: Glances at book, wondering if it's good or not. Poke it with a stick.

Step 7: Pick up book. It won't bite.

Step 8: Enjoy reading. Note: Have tissues on hand just in case.
