I feel ya. I really do. I saw the Wynnona Ryd...LOL. I feel ya. I really do. I saw the Wynnona Ryder film before reading the book, and I remember feeling the same way. The more familiar I became with the story, though, the more I came to see that (especially as this story is semi-autobiographical--she just wasn't that into him. Did the reasons make sense? Of course not. They never do. But marrying him when she felt that way wouldn't have been fair to him because she would have felt like she was settling. I get it, though. It was a very frustrating plot twist to get through.
